I love this book for various reasons. 1. It highlights the typical farm animals that I have taught my 1-year-old already. 2. The pictures are drawn clearly and fairly universally, so she can actually recognize the various animals. 3. There are several high quality flaps on each page, so she can spend a lot of time looking through the book 4. The tabs along the side of the book make it easy for her to turn the pages. It is one of my favorite books to hand her when I want to entertain her for a while.

My 18 month old loves flipping through the pages and lifting the flaps. It's too bad that in less than a week he tore out one flap that took a whole page with it. Another plus is there's a lot to point at to help expand his vocabulary. But there isn't really a story here, just a narrative that describes what's going on at the farm.

My 2-year old son love these lift-the-tab books so we bought them as a birthday present for some friends. He's read it plenty of times, but he still loves to life the tabs and now he tells me who is underneath and what they're doing, or he'll make up his own stories which is also fun. The tabs can be hard to open up at first, but once you go through it a couple times, no problems. Great books!

These lift the flap books by Roger Priddy are wonderful! The colors are great, the flaps are sturdy and have held up through my 21 month old. He gets so excited to lift up the flaps and have me read what’s going on. The farm one is so excellent! I think these books are a must have and we have been reading them to my son since he was about 6 months old.

My daughter has another book from this author, "the spooky house" and it has been one of her favorites for years. This one did not dissappoint. The flaps are a little hard to open at first but with a little help she can open them all on her own now. Sturdy pages and cute story.

My daughter has had this since she was 12 months and still loves it as an 18 month old. She loves farm animals and refers to this book as "EO" (for e i e i o). She makes all the animal sounds on each page. Love these books - this one is definitely a favorite of the Priddy lift the flaps!

One of my 12 month old’s favorite books since he was 10 months old. He loves the large tab format of the book because it makes it easier to flip the page and he enjoys finding the flaps to open. He basically has the location of the flaps memorized, but he still enjoys opening them all the same.

My son and I absolutely love this book! The pages and flaps are very sturdy so my 2 yo isn't destroying the book like he has to so many others. There is a great selection of animals which is great since my son is learning animals and sounds.
