Ms. Camuto's holistic approach to time management has broad applicability beyond the office setting. The principles she presents are invaluable in any number of personal and professional settings, as are the many strategies she shares for coping with a wide range of time management and communication challenges and the chaos that pops up everywhere - home, school, office, etc. Well worth the read!
A book that is easy to read, and apply to any workday experience.
As someone who has had to leave a toxic workplace and look for another job, this book hits a lot of nails on their heads. I heavily identify with the "Donna" archetype presented in the book, but Camuto is thorough in diagnosing problems in the workplace, the individual, and in the workplace culture that can affect a person's mood and productivity. Her suggestions are a variety, rather than a "cure all" mindset that somehow magically works on a universal scale, and are fine-tuned to each 'archetype's' unique situation. There are small changes, such as instead of groaning about a commute, getting time to read or listen to music, and there are big ones, like the "$20 scenario" in which people are shown to hesitate as they think about spending their money, but not their time on ineffectual or unnecessary tasks. As someone who gets anxious, I found this book supportive and accommodating when too many self-help books belittle or assume people with mental illnesses don't exist or can't function. 5 stars from me!

What a refreshing read! The situations and explanations are so on point. Her tips are handy and useful! She takes the idea of not waiting for "the other" to change , instead you can be the change you need to make the most of your day!!!! Good stuff!
